PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITS AND PRESENTATIONS
Nothing scheduled right now.
An Appeal
I was in Mexico for six weeks this Spring and one stop was in Amaquil, a ranchería in Chiapas (a ranchería is too small to be called a village). Most campesinos there grow coffee and, like all campesinos, they're extremely poor. I stayed with Nicolas, Catalina and their four kids for five days. Nicolas and his cousin Marcos have a string band that plays in church and they're in need of three new violins. I'm collecting money to send to them (can't send the violins because there's no way to get them to Amaquil). We need about $650-$700 total and anything will help--$2, $5, whatever. Send it to me at: 27 Suter Terrace, Rochester, NY 14620. Thanks.
ANOTHER WEBSITE
My photos have been accepted at another website you may want to check out: www.socialdocumentary.com There are a lot of great portfolios on it. Also, www.GlobalPost.com published a photoessay a month ago. That's an incredible website and you should check it out.
THIS AIN'T NECESSARILY PHOTOGRAPHY, BUT...
